The Temple - Salina Innovation Foundation

Goal: $2,000.00

Specific Need

Funds will be used for restoration and preservation of this historic building for future generations to enjoy.

Mission

Our mission is to save and preserve the historic Salina Masonic Temple building for use as a community resource center.

Profile

After 90 years of management by Masonic orders, the Masonic Temple is now owned by the Salina Innovation Foundation, a private 501(c)3 organization formed to preserve, protect and repurpose this iconic building.

The Temple is a long time local landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Spaces. Now it provides our community with a massive blank canvas on which to paint a vision of its future in Salina.

Current uses are as a business incubator, with a 3500 sq ft coworking space in the lower level and as a venue for private events.
