Central Kansas Mental Health Center
Goal: $10,000.00
Specific Need
Because of donors like you, CKMHC is able to plan for the future while expanding services today. This year, we have some very exciting plans—and a lofty goal. With your help, we hope to beat our Match Madness record by raising $10,000 in gifts on March 12.
Match Madness gifts are an investment in long-term services, donations will support CKMHC’s endowed fund, helping ensure services are available for years to come. This year, matching dollars will support a major next step: the expansion of social-emotional group programs in our new Youth Campus building.
Our new facility will increase designated group space from one room to four—expanding our capacity and creating the potential to serve up to four times as many youth through group services. These new spaces will allow for consistent, age-appropriate environments and the flexibility to expand programming during high-demand times. Matching funds will help equip new group spaces with the tools that make meaningful care possible—technology, specialized furniture, and group supplies designed to support children, youth, families, and parent peer support.
“This expansion will change the way we provide group services and the way kids and families receive them,” shared Julie Clayson, Community-Based Services Coordinator. “From age-appropriate group rooms to parent-led community events, this space will allow us to serve families with intention, consistency, and connection.”
