Through careful stewardship—gathering history, protecting artifacts, and presenting them thoughtfully—the Museum ensures our community’s past continues to inform and inspire what comes next. This work is built to last.

What was your favorite part of the Museum? Why?

" My favorite part of the museum is peoples lifes of learning them and because I like to learn of what happened to them," said a 10-year-old girl from Junction City.

"The history and the reason why it's [important] cause it can teach us more," said a 16-year-old Salinan.

"Very informative and excellent exhibits well written and truly captured the history of Ks. Early history of Kansas and including the treatment of Native Americans. It really is a well done history museum. We have ancestors who homesteaded in Gypsum and the museum brought that all together," said a 71-year-pld femail from Dunbarton, NH.
